“Gong Show For The New Ages”

So my wife and I were visiting family the other night and American Idol comes on, seeing they are big fans I didn’t complain. Girls against the guys or some reality show crap. After 15 minutes I asked “Where is the frick’n Gong all ready!” Now don’t get me wrong, I can’t sing and wouldn’t be caught dead on one of these shows. Once the song was over and we had to listen to three judges tell her how bad she was doing. So I thought, instead of Simon saying rude things he could simply bang on a gong, you know like seconds after she started and they could turn a 1-2 hour show thats on 2-3 times a week (So I was told from family) into a 30 minute show. Then they could stop cancelling good shows or just make room for new / Non-reality shows.

Some of those competitors just suck so bad that a gong is required if there going to continue this show.
